All Saints Healthcare System (now Ascension) needed to expand and relocate its cancer services from one site to another. A new Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Cancer Center was built with 100% philanthropic dollars on the campus of Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Millions of dollars was raised in three years to construct a state-of-the-art treatment facility for the community.
DWIGHT FOSTER PUBLIC LIBRARY
Dwight Foster Public Library in Fort Atkinson needed $3M to build and furnish a moderately sized addition and pursue smart reuse of the existing structure. This was needed to accommodate significant increases in library circulation and annual visits for a library that was bursting at the seams. Over $3.2M was raised in fourteen months.
GREENFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY
The city of Greenfield outgrew its Public Library. It set out to raise $1.2M to build and furnish a much needed and more spacious library on a municipal campus where other city buildings are located, utilizing the former Greenfield Police facility that required extensive modifications. Over $1.4M was successfully raised in twelve months.
MCFARLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY
McFarland Public Library needed to raise private funds to cover the cost of everything that goes inside the library — artwork, displays, enhanced collections, and technology while public funds covered the cost of the bricks and mortar. A referendum for a new library passed with a three-to-one margin. The fundraising goal of $1.4M was exceeded by $100,000 in ten months.
